It’s hard to tell whether the posts popping up this morning on billy goat-bearded System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian’s Facebook are authentic or the work of hacker fans.
They seem legit, but at the same time, they seem so absolutely careless, you’d never imagine someone would willfully share information in such a manner. The gloves came off of Shavo, and he came out swinging in his posts, claiming he and the rest of System want to make new music…but as suspect, Serj Tankian does not. “I’ll come clean…Its not us(meaning Daron, John Or Shavo!! Its Serj who doesn’t want to do a new album!!!!,” the first post reads. “So please stop harassing us about it!!! We are just waiting for SERJ,” the post adds. “Now He might hate me for exposing the truth but I Had too.. Sorry folks!!! We’re trying to get a new album out, its just not passing Serj’s RULES! Kinda funny, since we started the band and now he’s holding us back!! I think we should release another album again???” The posts seem to follow a night spent at a comedy club in Los Angeles, with some very funny comedians. So, perhaps it is possible Shavo had a few too many and opened up. “As for me…I’m ready to release one with someone who wants to be the singer of SYSTEM,” the post adds. “Not someone we have to beg to be a part of SYSTEM!! So with that in mind, what do you guys (sic) should do? Just remember, He’s been holding us back for 7 years so far…wanna wait another 5 years? or shall we release a record without Serj? u tell us?????” Minutes later, after fans started questioning the validity of the post, another popped up. “I dont want to make a record without him… but if he’s not down? Should the 3 of us just sit and wait?? Not cool!!!!!!!! I want the fans from all over the world including Brazil to tell us what they think. “No diss to Serj…If he wants to be in the band then he’s welcome but if he’s not? what do you expect us 3 to do??,” the final post reads. “We really want another System Record! wish Serj was down but if he’s not, then I’m going ahead and making a System record without him!!! I’m furious that he let us down like this, but we gotta do something to keep this great band alive!!! agreed????????” If this is all legit, holy fuck! System of a Down, making a record without Serj? I have a feeling it’d suck because Serj’s voice is what really drew me (and I assume others) to System’s music in the first place. Date posted: 2013-05-20

As I neared the end of the exhibit, where the piped-in audio blasted recognizable hits like “God Save The Queen” (honestly, if one knew nothing of the origins of punk, one might think that punk was entirely invented by the Sex Pistols, with maybe a few contributions from those upstarts at CBGB and a little band called the Clash), I was leaning towards the former. I was almost excited to exit though the gift shop, where I expected to see a huge placard bearing the classic Johnny Rotten quote: “Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?”
Then I could laugh, say, “Yes!,” and feel like it all meant something.
But all the tourists got were a mannequin in a Martin Margiela garment giving them the middle finger, $80 T-shirts designed by various exhibitors like Rodarte and high-priced rolls of duct tape in shocking pink and imprinted with safety pins. Items are also available, natch, via high-fashion website and exhibitor sponsor Moda Operandi’s “Punk Shop.” After all, what says “anarchy” more than a $625 Ashish sweatshirt or a pair of $445 Klughaus graffiti’d Dr Martens?
So I bought two rolls of the duct tape.

I am Trevin Hunte, the shy 18-year old from Queens, NY, who was told by many that I would never become anything. Confidence has always been something I have struggled with growing up. It was not until my experience on Season 3 of NBC’s “The Voice” that I learned to embrace my gift of singing. I found my own voice. As a kid I would steal my mothers brush at sing at the top of my lungs in my bedroom, mostly to annoy the crap out of my mother at the time! The first song I ever heard on the radio was Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” Since then she has always been my idol and true inspiration. For the future, I hope to become a household name and dream of having a career like John Legend, or even Adele. I hope to do this by creating timeless music that can appeal to everyone. Music has always been my first love and as I grow older, each and everyday I realize I cannot live without it. Being on one the most watched TV talent show competitions was definitely nerv-racking and at times very overwhelming. But I am glad I found the courage to rise to the occasion and overcome my fear of being rejected. Because of the show and all of my fans, I have become a better performer, a better artist and most of all, a better person. I am now ready to start recording and making music for you, the fans. What I love about PledgeMusic is that you all can come on the journey with me. We can make music together. I will be updating everyone constantly on my recording process and letting the fans be involved in very special ways. Pledge will allow me to make the music I want to make. Thank you and God Bless for helping me. -- Trevin Date posted: 2013-05-20

Toots is doing fine and doesn’t blame Richmond for one guy’s action. I wasn’t at this show, but I am deeply saddened and embarrassed that this happened. It’s been circulating all over the media (even Yahoo and Rolling Stone picked it up) and this moment will be one that everyone remembers about the show. So to everyone affected by this show, I say this: 1 – Stop getting completely drunk at shows. Seriously. You’re not awesome. You’re not funny. Nobody thinks you’re cool. All you’re doing is ruining everyone else’s good time and making yourself look stupid. 2 – Be respectful of others there. Hundreds if not thousands of people are trying to enjoy a show. Your actions have consequences, from as small as getting on someone’s nerves to a complete shut down of a show in this case. 3 – Don’t let the actions of one idiot ruin the showgoing experience. Keep going to shows. Everyone else at the show seemed to be enjoying themselves and having a good time. Finnish melodic death metal heavyweights Children of Bodom have unveiled another brand new track! Halo Of Blood is taken from the album of the same name, out June 7 via Nuclear Blast. Children Of Bodom will also return to the UK this Autumn on the following dates: OCTOBER 07 – BOURNEMOUTH, Academy [tickets] Halo Of Blood serves as the follow-up to 2011 opus Relentless Reckless Forever. “Halo Of Blood is the eighth studio album from Children Of Bodom and, believe it or not, we still managed to keep it fresh and new while still maintaining the elements that make the COB sound recognisable,” says frontman Alexi Laiho. “It’s got the fastest and the slowest songs we’ve ever made and, lyrics wise, there are themes we had never had before. It’s 10 new songs of pure Nordic metal and whether you enjoy it with a beer or a glass of water, I’m sure you will have a good time.” Sounds good to us. Download Festival 2013 is finally just around the corner, so we’re grabbing some of the biggest and best bands from this year’s lineup to throw some irreverent bollocks at. Not literally. That’d be insane. Today, we chat to Ali from Bleed From Within! Alright, mate! How many times have you been to Donington? We have been to Download countless times. Davie first went in 2005, and the rest of us lost our Donington virginity in 2006. We have been there almost every year since. The atmosphere, the people, the music; it’s the greatest place to party! What’s your favourite Donington memory? Probably meeting Phil Anselmo in 2009. Davie P ran into the toilet, dragged me outside and there he was. We had our photo taken and spoke briefly about ginger hair. Backstage at Download is a crazy place, full of people you never thought you’d meet in person. What are you most looking forward to about playing this year? Playing the songs from our new album Uprising live on that stage! It’s been four years since we played Download, so words can’t describe how excited we are! We are going to go fucking nuts on stage, then hit the beers HARD. Which bands on the bill are you most excited about? We won’t be there for the full weekend, but we want to be able to catch Cancer Bats, Kvelertak, After The Burial, Karnivool, Mastodon, Katatonia, QOTSA, Rammstein and Limp Bizkit to name a few! It’s going to be a crazy couple of days though, so I’ll be surprised if we even see half those bands. What can we expect from your set? A shit load of hair, heavy fucking metal and maybe a guest appearance! We’ve been waiting 4 years to get back in front of the Download crowd. Do NOT miss our set. What’s the worst thing you’ve ever seen at a festival? Have you ever looked through the toilet seat of those big green communal toilets? We’ve never seen anything like it. That and the price of the burgers. If you could only pack five things to take with you, what would they be? Beer, Whisky, Jager, Irn Bru, Sleeping bag. Download 2013 takes place June 14-16. Any time you’re feeling down, try to envision this scene: Mount Eerie playing a frat party. There are a lot of ways to go with this fantasy, many of which would probably not cheer you up. Let me walk you through it. It’s a classic, Animal House-style frat party, a real beer blast if you will. Dudes in backwards baseball caps doing keg stands. There’s a guy in a toga running around. Someone jumped through a window. Things are being broken; everything’s being broken. This is nuts. Mount Eerie are set up in the corner and Phil Elverum softly sings, “Misunderstood and disillusioned, I go on describing this place.” All the bros stop in their tracks. All the sorority girls look towards the band. Everyone is crying. Every single person is crying. I’m pretty sure that’s basically what happened during the Bloomington show in which the band’s new 12-inch, Live in Bloomington, September 30th, 2011, was recorded. Sure, the 12-inch, which is coming out through Bloomington-based Crossroads of America Records on June 11, was recorded at Russian Recording and mixed by Mike Bridavsky. That doesn’t sound like a crazy frat party at all. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t. It just, well, probably wasn’t. Still, what would you rather imagine? A low-key show in a recording studio with a set drawing mostly from the then-unreleased Clear Moon? Or an insane kegger in a recording studio with a set drawing mostly from the then-unreleased Clear Moon? My Dying Bride by Daniel Cairns Whilst peers like Paradise Lost and Anathema have gone through a litany of musical changes, experimenting with Depeche Mode style electronics and glorious anthemic rock songs, My Dying Bride have mercifully continued to wallow in their Keats-meets-Castlevania misery, writing melodic dirges for those moments at four in the morning when you’re not miserable enough for Khanate, but still feel a bit naff anyway. It’s not like My Dying Bride were ever incapable of doing anything different. Their one attempt at branching out a bit, the severely underrated 34.788% was met with the kind of fan backlash which makes you wish metal fans would just bugger off down a well forever. So for the past 15 years they’ve stuck steadfastly to the melodramatic, lyrical doom that’s served them so well. They’ve managed to maintain a pretty high quality too, as their last EP The Barghest O’ Whitby and this one, The Manuscript proves. It’s business as usual really. They’ll make no new fans off The Manuscript, but they won’t lose any either. Aaron Stainthorpe creaks away over melodic, mournful symphonies like he’s laconically, miserably slouched himself on a leather couch in a dimly lit room in a gothic mansion, with only candle-light, the dying embers of a once raging, warm fire, and glints of moonlight dancing languidly on the surface of the half-finished merlot he’s been nursing, providing any semblance of illumination while reading a book. For shits and giggles let’s imagine the book is the Players Guide to Banjo Kazooie. There’s nothing wrong with it really. Nothing mould breaking either, and My Dying Bride will never suddenly find themselves inspiring a Harlem Shake style craze (although I would give absolutely everything to see them start the “Yorkshire sulk”) but sod it. In a shitty unpredictable world, it’s nice to have something reliable like My Dying Bride to remind you that everything is truly utterly meaningless, any and all struggle is futile and we are all but slaves to the whims of a cruel, unpredictable mistress called mortality who could cruelly yank away the choke chain of existence clasped around our necks at any moment. Banjo Kazooie was the best game; the bird pooped out eggs. 5/6 Sounds like: A long, lyrical and very smartly dressed sigh Date posted: 2013-05-20

The AltSounds File-O-Facts feature on: Julia Biel. Want to know more about this up and coming artist? Here you can find out loads of snappy facts about this new talent...
WATCH // Julia Biel - 'Say It Out Loud' Name: Julia Biel Star Sign: Pisces Place of Birth: London Now Based At: London Level of Education: Degree First Instrument Played: When I was little I was given the choice between joining my older sister at Brownies or having piano lessons - it was a definite either/or situation. I gave Brownies a go first but only lasted two weeks before realising I’d made a big mistake. Piano. Current Instrument: I stopped playing piano for a few years but started taking singing more seriously. Then a few years ago I picked up the guitar and that was a really refreshing sound to mess around with. At the moment I think of myself as a singer who accompanies herself on the piano and guitar. Last Venue Played: King’s Place, London where I launched my new single ‘We Watch the Stars’. Last Gig Attended: Angelique Kidjo at The Royal Festival Hall. My almost brother-in-law is her sound engineer and he invited us to go - she’s an amazing performer and an inspirational female figure in the global music industry. Can't Go On Tour Without: My check-list is long…! Besides guitar stuff, er.. I would have to say my slippers help me to relax wherever I’m staying so I take them. And I’m a terrible one for taking things ‘just in case’ and I hate being cold as well so generally I take much more than I should. Rock n roll. The Best Thing About Live Music Is: Anything can happen if you let it The Person I Would Most Like To Collaborate with Is: I’m finding it really difficult to settle on one person - a whole load of people I’m aware of and probably loads that I’m not aware of yet and different people for different things. I like collaborating - it’s always a fascinating process. Worst Thing To Happen To Music Is: Simon Cowell. Best Thing About The Current Music Industry: The vinyl revival. Turn On: twinkly eyes; making me laugh. Turn Off: Bad shoes. Biggest Influence: Everything shapes you, good and bad... writing and producing music late at night has probably defined my sound more than anything else My Favourite Person On TV Right Now Is: Charlie Brooker Childhood Hero: Neneh Cherry. ![]() When I Was Younger I Wanted To Be: A singer. My Favourite Book Is: ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’, Jonathan Safran Foer tied with ‘A Fine Balance’, Rohinton Mistry. My Favourite Website Is: Can’t say I have a favourite website My Favourite Item Of Clothing Is: Definitely a coat, I’ve got a coat thing going on. My Favourite Shop Is: No more.. boo-hoo. well it’s not the same since the management changed so I am looking for a new favourite shop. Before it was Trinity Hospice Shop on Streatham High Road which used to be run by a stylist/make-up artist lady who sourced great vintage stuff and sold it really cheap to keep the stock turning over – I was in there all the time. The Best Boredom Buster Is: Swimming at the Lido. My Ultimate Snack Is: Crackers and cheese… once you pop you can’t stop. The Worst Food Invented Is: Marmite The First Thing I Do When I Wake Up Is: Feed the cat, he’s lovely but brutally insistent in the mornings bless him. I Can't Leave The House Without: Coming back to get things I forgot. I'm Well Known For: Liking cake a bit too much, being artistically stubborn where my own music is concerned I guess, generally being a bit late, terrible habit. My Hobbies Are: Baking cakes, vintage clothes shopping, dreaming I Have A Passion For: Besides making music… fairness, truth, First Band Name: I never had anything to do with the band names of the bands I was in so there’s my disclaimer right there. It’s not easy coming up with band names though - I’ve copped out releasing music under my own name. Tomorrow I Will: Finish all the unfinished DIY in my place. Honest. Soundgarden have confirmed they’ll return to the UK and Ireland for four shows in September. The Seattle icons blasted back into action with last year’s acclaimed album King Animal. And bassist Ben Shepherd says he had no doubt they’d be able to deliver the goods, despite having split in 1997. He tells the St Louis Post-Dispatch: “Even when we were in the room together meeting about having meetings, it was already back to the same chemistry. There were no worries about us taking the next step and being able to write new songs.” Of the album he says: “We wanted it to sound like us. The only pressure we put on ourselves was that we make a record that’s on par with our old stuff. I had the utmost faith in the others that we would bring it all the way. There was no way we were going to put out a crappy record that no one cared about.” Tour tickets go on sale on Friday, May 24. The AltSounds File-O-Facts feature on: Equinox, the Peacekeeper. Want to know more about this up and coming artist? Here you can find out loads of snappy facts about this new talent...
WATCH // Equinox, the Peacekeeper - 'Minding Your Own Business' Name: Wouter Albert Carola Buyst Star Sign: Scorpio Place of Birth: Rumst, Belgium Now Based At: Belgium here and there, mainly Ghent Level of Education: Master degree in English and Dutch literature First Instrument Played: Little white Casio synth. Current Instrument: Guitar, piano, harmonica, overtone singing, musical saw, charango, Jew's harp and a bunch of others (though honesty obliges me to state my skills in playing some of these might be below standard. If three notes plucked on a zither to fit a song arrangement means playing the thing, then I play zither). Last Venue Played: Labadoux folk festival Last Gig Attended: Mount Eerie Can't Go On Tour Without: Tobacco, lots... The Best Thing About Live Music Is: Live spine-shivers are the best, when you realise the unique beauty of the moment, which you share with everyone else in the crowd. While I'm performing myself, it's when I look at my fellow musicians on stage, and there's that spark of joy... when I feel my words come across. And the moments where you reach that zone... when it becomes ceremonial. The Person I Would Most To Collaboration Is: There are many... If I can choose anyone, I'd love to work with Homer Simpson and Mississipi john Hurt; Jesus Christ producing the whole thing... Be prepared. Worst Thing To Happen To Music Is: Low quality MP3's Best Thing About The Current Music Industry: Hmm... 'music' and 'industry' rubbing shoulders, I'll never get used to the idea. Best thing about current developments though would be that anybody more or less has a chance to put out his art on the web and share it. Turn On: Tune in (don't necessarily have to drop out). Turn Off: Pass Biggest Influence: Leonard Cohen, since he started my whole trip in the.. ahum... music industry, with some kind words of wisdom, in a brief encounter on the streets of Montreal. And because his poetry, of course, is utterly brilliant. Also: travelling, since most of my stuff starts on the road. And anything that could be filed under 'psychedelic experience', in it's broadest sense. My Favourite Person On TV Right Now Is: Bruce Parry. The man who made the BBC documentaries 'Tribe', 'Amazon' and 'Arctic'. Be living for some time with remote tribes around the globe, he's showing western people that there's alternatives to the way we live together. I know him in person, he's one great, humble and sincere man. No show, searching to do good... ![]() Childhood Hero: McGuyver (of course). When I Was Younger I Wanted To Be: A biologist. Last Album Bought: Push the sky away – Nick Cave (for my brother's birthday). Last Song Listened To On MP3 Player: Walking down the line – Bob Dylan. The Music I'm Into Is: I love the old stuff...Alan Lomax recordings and such. But anything that has soul, anything that pulls me through a dreary day. Favourite Current Band: Don't really have a favourite current band. The Low Anthem, maybe...or Mum? I love some of Devendra Banhart's stuff, 'Smokey rolls down thunder canyon' is as good as an album gets. My Favourite Drink Has To Be: Belgian Beer... though this week I'm not drinking, so ginger tea with lime juice. My Favourite Book Is: Selected works of Joseph Campbell / The Upanishads / Survival for dummies by McGuyver My Favourite Website Is: teach_your_cat_how_to_dance_to _dubreggae.org My Favourite Item Of Clothing Is: my torn hoodie. My Favourite Shop Is: Thrift-store down the block. The Best Boredom Buster Is: Sleep... or sex. The Best Film I Ever Saw Was: Some visions behind closed eyelids.... hard to describe. Also: The Idiots by Lars von Treer and E.T. which was the first film to make me cry. Such a sad alien... My Ultimate Snack Is: Plantains, roasting on a campfire somewhere in Peru. And Kinder Bueno. The Worst Food Invented Is: McDonalds and all their spin-offs... evil. The First Thing I Do When I Wake Up Is: Piss. I Can't Leave The House Without: Pissing. I'm Well Known For: Taking the piss. My Hobbies Are: Drawing, reading, eating plantain by a campfire somewhere in Peru, lucid dreaming. I Have A Passion For: All of the above. First Band Name: Pingu. Tomorrow I Will: Be better. My Biggest Aspiration: To keep breathing till I die. I Think AltSounds is: Giving me a good quizzing! Equinox, The Peacekeeper's Birdsongs On The Wasteland is out May 27th on Superspectacular. The AltSounds File-O-Facts feature on: Scrimshire. Want to know more about this up and coming artist? Here you can find out loads of snappy facts about this new talent...
WATCH // Scrimshire - 'Convergent' Name: Adam Michael Scrimshire Star Sign: Libra Place of Birth: Rugby, England Now Based At: London Level of Education: Still going… First Instrument Played: Casio VL-Tone Keyboard for my 2nd birthday, my first and only instrument until 11 years later. Current Instrument: Nylon and steel string acoustic guitars, Burns electric guitar (technically my girlfriend’s but now in my permanent use), Bass, Fender Rhodes keyboard, drums and a multitude of percussion instruments, Akai MPD and APC40 + macbook pro, my ears and my voice. Plus I still have a couple of didgeridoos from a phase in the early 90s. Last Venue Played: Blind Tiger, Brighton Last Gig Attended: Resonators and Femi Kuti at Koko, London Can't Go On Tour Without: My sennheiser headphones. The things I mostly want are actually part of my tour gear ie. My mac and a portable keyboard for making music on the go. But I need the headphones for working anywhere. I always pack a book but never read it. I’ve been carrying around 1Q84 for a year now. The Best Thing About Live Music Is: The volume maybe. Hard to say – it’s all such a blur when you’re up there. The buzz of nailing a track with your mates, playing in sync with each other. Elevating it just a little on one particular night for no particular reason at all. The surprises I guess. The Person I Would Most To Collaboration Is: Bjork Worst Thing To Happen To Music Is: A few to choose from here but I think the business is behind the curve because the majors didn’t use their position to innovate when they should have. I think this has impacted the entire world of music. Rather than fighting the likes of Napster in the courts and then subsequently suing individuals for downloading they should have been battling them with innovation and developing better subscription and streaming models earlier on. That is a highly simplified summary of my thoughts on that, but hopefully you get the point, I could go on. Best Thing About The Current Music Industry: Ummmm… About the “industry”; I guess the increasing ability to earn reasonable streaming income from a variety of sources including the improvements to youtube streaming income and things like iTunes match, the growth of spotify, rdio etc. Lots of ways to make money even in the face of reducing sales. It’s also nice to be around in a period when the whole industry is in a period of change. It’s hard, but it’s never boring. Turn On: Kindness Turn Off: Rudeness Biggest Influence: My family, I’m very close to them, they made me who I am, they made me as driven as I am, they gave me the skills to exploit that and the belief to chase my own ambitions down. They taught me how to be a good person too which is almost certainly why I’m now surrounded by more people who are kind, generous, loyal and caring. Which is a great environment to be creative in. Not that I’m always a good person unfortunately, but I do strive to be. My Favourite Person On TV Right Now Is: Olivia Colman! UTTER legend. Probably the most talented woman on tv today. If you asked me last week it would have been Masterchef winner Natalie Coleman – not sure why it’s all Col(e)mans!? I don’t watch a lot of TV but I watch anything with Olivia in and I’m a masterchef addict. ![]() Childhood Hero: I question whether I should be honest at this point… Fuck it… Phil Collins. He was the first person I understood played multiple instruments and wrote and recorded alone. It was inspiring to me at the time. That was probably around 10 years old and for a few years until I started getting into Beck and Bjork and Miles Davis and everything else. Before 10 it would have been Michael Jackson, hands down. When I Was Younger I Wanted To Be: Michael Jackson. Or… I didn’t know I wanted to be a musician until 13. Before that I wanted to be an architect or landscape designer. Last Album Bought: Running a record label I’m in the very fortunate position that I get sent a lot of music by a lot of my favourite artists so I don’t buy quite as often as I used to. It might have been some Jacques Brel. On vinyl it was either Shields by Grizzly Bear or Swing Lo Magellan, special edition by Dirty Projectors. Last Song Listened To On MP3 Player: Just checking…I’ve been working on remixes for people so I’m afraid it’s something I was working on. Before those it was Gas Stations and Restaurants by Letherette. The Music I'm Into Is: genre defying, emotionally complex and forces you to stop and listen. Favourite Current Band: Resonators – I know they’re on my label, but, see them live. On even the most hectic and stressful day, when I see Resonators play I am transported to a happy place. For 40 minutes I’m relaxed and uplifted and I could stay there forever. My Favourite Drink Has To Be: Coffee or good whisky. My Favourite Book Is: 100 Years Of Solitude My Favourite Website Is: Don’t have one, so much content is aggregated now via twitter or facebook, I flick around the web all day long but I couldn’t tell you. Wait, Dave Pensado’s website. He has HOURS of audio engineering and production tutorials up there for free – it’s an incredible resource from one of the best in the industry. My Favourite Item Of Clothing Is: I picked up a great pair of Levi’s jeans in Nottingham last year that I love. Or any of my UniQlo socks! My Favourite Shop Is: For clothes UniQlo, but the shop I’m most afraid of because of its absolute awesomeness and the fact it is packed to the rafters with things I want – Audio Gold in Crouch End. I don’t trust myself to take money into that shop. The Best Boredom Buster Is: I don’t think I’ve ever been bored. The Best Film I Ever Saw Was: Oh God I have absolutely no idea. The film I saw and would have happily walked straight back into and watched again was Scott Pilgrim, but I’m not sure it’s the best film I ever saw. Maybe Nikita or La Vie En Rose, no I’m forgetting something… There Will Be Blood? Sorry. My Ultimate Snack Is: Koka noodles, Chinese sausage, poached egg and spring onion. The Worst Food Invented Is: Coleslaw The First Thing I Do When I Wake Up Is: Check my emails while the kettle boils. I Can't Leave The House Without: my headphones. I'm Well Known For: being a bit grumpy. My Hobbies Are: I don’t really have a hobby. I work, I make music for my life, I make music for fun sometimes, I like building things and filming things and cooking, but there’s nothing I put time aside to do “on the side”. Everything just kind of contributes to where I’m going. I Have A Passion For: The outdoors, the sea, escaping. First Band Name: FUR Tomorrow I Will: Get up late as I have a gig tonight and won’t be back til around 6am. Then make another failed attempt at taking some time off – usual Sunday business. My Biggest Aspiration: Build a studio out in the country I think. And to play to a full room in every country on earth. I Think AltSounds is: asking some fairly difficult questions… but being very kind to spend some time with me. Thank you. Scrimshire’s 'Bight' is out 27th May on Wah Wah 45s.
